Colts vs. Patriots: November 4, 2007

Well, the time has finally come. There is absolutely nothing I can possibly write that won't be talked about a million times over in the coming week. This is the biggest regular season game I can ever remember. There's a big chance that it may decide who gets home field advantage between these two teams in the playoffs (which is huge). And if the Colts lose, I don't see how the Patriots won't go undefeated this season. So anyways, needless to say, I'm very excited.

This city is going to be so hyped up, it's gonna be ridiculous. It will definitely be like a playoff game and maybe even more exciting than the first round of the playoffs. I'm mostly looking forward to what Dungy and Polian have to say. They're really the only ones who say anything worth listening to. I'm sure I'll still read every article I can get my hands on, but that's just for fun. I could care less what the media has to offer.

Well, I hope everyone has fun plans for the game. Whoever wins, I hope it's a solid game and if we lose, I hope it's because they outplayed us. Please no more dropped passes. GO COLTS!!!

OH I can't wait! Seriously, they're both playing so well, and I just can't wait to see them battle it out. Whatever the outcome, it's gonna be a daang good game.

GO HORSE!!

Dangit Joel, wish you guys could be here for it. Hopefully you'll be able to Skype in.

Ange, are you guys leaving the next day (Monday)? Guess I'll find out tomorrow anyways. If you're back from IL in time, you should DEFIANTELY try to swing downtown to see how crazy it is. I'm sure it'll be nuts. See you soon!

We got to wear our Colts jerseys to work today, and there's supposed to be some big announcement on the circle. I guess today is Blue Tuesday. I work half a block from the circle so I'll get to go down on my lunch break. I wonder what it could possibly be?

"Dear Indiana..ites....Indianans,

"My name is Bill Pollian and standing to my left is my good friend, the mob. Today we have a big announcement and we wanted you all here to celebrate the news with us.

"I'm pleased to announce that we are increasing Peyton Manning's salary again, to a figure that can't be described using U.S. currency. So we're going to have to start paying him with solid gold bricks, or with the Euro - we're not quite sure which.

"Thanks again, and go Colts!!!"

Crowd reaction: "He deserves it! Go get 'em Peyton!"

Dangit dude, I saw about that Blue Tuesday. I have like 3 meetings today, so I can't make it. Try to pick up as much free stuff as your burly arms can handle. And bring a wheelbarrow.
